Customer Reviews

Half Day Hluhluwe Umfolozi SafariBrilliant

Particularly our guide David was very knowledgeable and also told us a lot about Zulu and South African culture and history how certain trees and plants are closely connected to Zulu traditions. The ability of the guides to spot even the smallest animal while driving, such as a small red legged spider or a dung beetle, is remarkable.

Half Day Hluhluwe Umfolozi SafariWonderful Half Day Safari

We booked a half day safari with Heritage Tours & Safaris. The guide, David, came to pick us up at hour hotel at 5 in the morning. It was amazing! David was a wonderful guide, very professional and he spotted all the wildlife, which was incredible. He also gave a lot of information for each animal we saw. We were lucky and were only with the two of us, so it was more a 'private tour'. The breakfast was also very nice and enough choice. We saw zebras, a giraffe, wildebeest, buffalo's and elephant. Perfect safari! Thank you David for making this such a memorable experience!!!

Good To Know

Rangers

guided walking safari tours

Qualified, Passionate and Knowledgeable these Rangers will undoubtedly offer you a superior service while out on Safari. Not only have the rangers years of experience in this reserve but they truly understand how the wildlife move from area to area, where the hot spots are and most importantly keeping you safe while in the bush.

These men and woman have dedicated their lives to wildlife and this is evident in their reviews. In becoming a ranger one first has to qualify and then train inhouse with a operator sometimes for years before they are allowed to offer these safaris themselves. It is a long and arduous journey however for those who are dedicated to what it is that they initially set out to accomplish it is more than rewarding. To be amongst the wildlife each day is more than a privilege its a blessing.

Our rangers have so many stories and incredible information we truly hope that you too are inspired.
