Elephants, Rhino’s and Lions
Elephants, Rhino's and Lion's on Safari
For those special moments in your life go on Safari!
Elephants, Rhino's and Lion on Safari, this has pretty much been the order of the day over the last few days and weeks. It truly has been some magnificent sightings in the bush.
Contributing factors to the sightings as per norm this time of the year is the scarcity of water in the area, this means that should one be close to any form of water one is bound to witness some incredible sights. Unfortunately the dry weather has lasted a lot longer and not much rain has fallen in the area as yet. Dry and Humid conditions persist and this hopefully will assist the area in some showers if not heavy rains.
Please remember it is hot out their and should you be venturing into the reserve over this period please make sure that you have adequate water with you. The south (Imfolozi ) has truly been a hot spot for viewing some wildlife and it is our advice to travel to this area.
From Heritage Tours & Safaris we hope and trust that you will have a glorious festive season and looking forward to a awesome new year.
Elephants, Rhino's and Lions
Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park may be small in comparison however this park is 96000 hectares, home to the African Big 5, Cheetah and Wild Dog to mention but just a few of the magnificent sightings that you too may be afforded while out on safari or self drive safari. Elephants, Rhino's and Lions this may be one of the 3 almost guaranteed sightings of wildlife that you will see while in this reserve. Its an incredible park and one that should be visited while in Zululand.
Water Reserves
It's been a tremendously dry season with very few water sources left in the Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve. Temperatures are once again souring and should you be in the park please do ensure that you have enough water on hand. Please keep to the speed limits at all times (40km/h). As it is the holiday season once again please be patient the roads are narrow and with sightings one must try and let all visitors enjoy the park. Have a truly blessed season.
