Hluhluwe Game Reserve Safari

Hluhluwe Game Reserve Safaris are offered by numerous tour operators, Heritage Tours & Safaris departs for the game reserve on a daily basis, they offer pick ups at any of the gates ( Memorial or Nylazi Gate ). Safaris offered are either 3hr, half day or full day safari excursions to witness the Big5, not only may one experience sightings of the Big 5 but also an opportunity to witness Cheetah and Wild Dog.

A safari allows one to experience first hand what the reserve has to offer, its truelly an amazing reserve proclaimed as the oldest in Africa and with rich cultural history from Shakas days.

The reserve was previously divided into two seperate parks and as of late one may access both sides with ease. The Hluhluwe and Umfolozi both have a different feel and vantage points, the northern part has more elevated terrain with its southern part less, the southern side has more water sources and therefore better safari vantage points.

A safari into this reserve will leave you speechless numerous clients that have ventures into this game reserve have noted that its tops Kruger National Park, this may be attributed to the fact that it is smaller 96000 hectares and therefore more accessible, with numerous tar and gravel roads. The two reserves offer a different landscape and therefore varying fuana and flora with different animal species.
