Top Safari Tips prior to departing on your next safari.

  • Don't buy new shoes without walking them in, nothing can be more uncomfortable that shoes that have not yet been walked in, also when buying shoes buy ones that have thick rubber soles as the South African thorns are serious.
  • Don't drink water unless it is from a sealed bottle, water is a serious problem in Africa.
  • Camera's and Bags, dust is a problem and no matter what you do it will surely be somewhere. Pack some ziplock bags and ensure that your lenses are sealed at all times nothing can be worse than capturing that amazing shot with grains of sand or dust in the photo
  • Drymac, always take a windproof rain jacket along on any safari no matter what, it can easily rain without much warning in Africa, don't forget those bags for your camera.
  • Clothing, light weight and please try and stay away from brightly coloured clothing when going out on safari.

Fantastic 3 night package!

Thank you very much for the amazing time we spent in St Lucia. The safari tours, hippo cruise, guides Shark, John & Vusi were all great. Very informative and we saw 4/5 of the big 5. Our South African holiday was made truly memorable by your company. Thank you.

If I could rate higher than excellent, I would

These tours were nothing short of phenomenal! Our guides were so knowledgeable, friendly, and hospitable. We went on the hippo river tour, the daytime safari tour and the night safari tour. All three were awesome, and we were able to get.so many wonderful pictures of of the wildlife. Our guide Johnathan on the daytime safari was the best!! You could tell how passionate he was about what he did and that made our day all the better! I would absolutely go back and do this tour again. I can't say enough great things about Heritage.

Best thing to do in South Africa

With my wife, we spent four days in St. Lucia as part of our Honeymoon last year. We did all the tours with Heritage and the experience was incredible: the landscapes, guides and everything was perfect. They prepared a great surprise for our last day, including another safari, just for us, as a gift for our wedding. In few words, the best thing to do in South Africa.
