9 day Cape Town Zululand Safari Package Itinerary:

Day 1

Meet and great at the Cape Town International Airport you will be transferred to your accommodation, get checked in and with no time to waste you are off on your first excursion. A Cape Town Peninsula Tour, this outing includes time at the VA & Waterfront and a then a full day experience of the Peninsula comprising of Camps Bay, Bantry Bay, Hout Bay, Chapmans Peak and Cape Point. Its a full day of absolute pristine beauty with picturesque views.

 

 

Day 2

After breakfast your guide will be ready for you as you travel to Stellenbosch and Franschoek for a day of not only wine tasting but Cheese pairing in some of the most incredible wine farms in the area. Should you have any specific wine farms that you would like to visit please do not hesitate to let us know so that we may make the arrangements. While in Franschoek you will also be able to enjoy a tram ride into various vineyards. This outing may either be a full or a half day outing with various add ons ( please enquire as to the various add ons available)

 

 

 Day 3

Today we journey to the Cape Town Table Mountain by cable car (weather permitting) , this iconic landmark is just one of the many reasons that Cape Town has become such a tremendous tourist destination. With magnificent views and glorious photographic opportunities make sure that you have not left the camera and additional batteries at your accommodation. The remainder of the day comprises of historical areas within Cape Town including the house of parliament.

 

 

 

Day 4

We depart today for the small quaint town of Hermanus, travel up the Sir Lowry Pass enroute passing vineyards, we stop off at various road side markets and stalls. Once in Hermanus you will have a chance to witness the migratory Whales ( seasonal) in the bay. Hermanus is a picturesque little town with lots to offer. We meander through the village and stop of at various places of interest.

 

 

Day 5

Today you board a plane and travel to Durban where you will be met by your guide and be transferred to St Lucia, South Africa’s very first world heritage site. Get checked into your accommodation and no sooner will you be met by your guide/ranger for the duration of your stay in St Lucia. A quick orientation drive around St Lucia and then you are on a late afternoon Sunset Boat Safari, home to more than 800 Hippo’s and 1200 Nile Crocodiles not to mention the abundance of Birdlife.

After which you will be on a Night Drive Safari to go in search of Leopard, Hippo, Buffalo, Elephant, Rhino. No safari to Africa can ever be complete without experiencing a Night Drive Safari.

 

 

Day 6

After breakfast take a leisurely drive into iSimangaliso Wetland Park this world heritage site boasts so much, wildlife, scenery, pristine beaches and much more. Its a full day of Bush & Beach this combination offers exciting close up sightings of Rhino particularly. Your experienced and knowledgeable ranger will show and explain why this area received world recognition and has world heritage status. The afternoon you will also have an opportunity to snorkel in a protected bay or just enjoy the warm tropical weather. ( During the winter months look out for the Humpback whales)

 

 

Day 7

This morning you are off early 5:00am on a full day Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game Reserve safari go insearch of the African Big5, Wild Dogs, Cheetah and much more this reserve is the oldest proclaimed reserve in Africa, with its interesting and incredible scenery its no wonder why this reserve is the jewel of Zululand.

Your ranger will prepare not only breakfast but a scrumptious traditional South African Braai in the bush for you.

 

 

 

 Day 8

Its a later start to the day and after breakfast we make our way to Bayete Zulu where you will have an opportunity not only see a Elephant up close but touch one as well, its a breath taking and incredible experience, from here we travel to various places of interest in and around Hluhluwe and then onto Emdoneni Cheetah Rehabilitation centre, from here too you will have an opportunity to witness Cheetah up close and also touch one.

Its a day of interaction in the African bush

 

 

 

Day 9

After breakfast you finally have some free time why not stroll through the markets or take a walk on the beach, after which you will be transferred back to Durban International Airport as we unfortunately have to say farewell.
