What to Expect ?

You will be traveling to the Imfolozi section (Southern side) of the park for this Full-Day Safari, the area is larger and thus offers better wildlife sightings. Journey deep into the bush and discover why a safari is just so spectacular.

All meals are conducted in one of the numerous picnic areas within the park. All picnic areas have bathroom facilities. Please note that these areas are not fenced.

During the summer season, temperatures may be high and it is advisable to bring a hat and sunscreen along. All vehicles do have additional coolers with bottled water. Winter conditions are generally cool in the mornings and a light jacket is advisable.

Efficient and conveniently located. I booked the half day game drive to hluhluwe and it was great. Our driver was friendly and accommodating. He was also always on time. We got to see a lot of wildlife on the game drive - elephants, giraffes, impala, rhinos etc. Just not any lions unfortunately. We also received a 10% discount for the st lucia boat cruises which we used.

We booked two tours through Bev at Heritage Tours and Safaris, an afternoon hippo & crocodile boat trip and the full day Hluhluwe-Imfolozi game drive. The entire process was efficient, the briefing on what to expect and a small special request were fully attended to. Both trips were amazing, the guides Brown and John had extensive knowledge of the entire eco system the history of the area and filled in any quiet moments with either rare bird sightings or intersting facts. The breakfast and lunch on the game drive were excellant.
