Summer: December, January and February

Hot and humid conditions prevail during this time, with thunderstorms (occasionally) and showers mostly in the afternoons.

  1. December, January and February:

The hottest months of the year, rain can be expected late afternoons. High humidity contributes to temperatures and it is essential to hydrate at all times. This too coincides when one can possibly witness a rare sighting of Lions in the trees. This is predominantly done to escape the warmer conditions and flies. Should you be on Safari use midday to relax as most predators will be as well.
