Overview
This 6 Night Safari & Scuba Holiday Package offers one the opportunity of enjoying some of the most magnificent areas to visit while in Zululand. Visit the oldest proclaimed game reserve in Africa the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park. This 96000 hectare reserve is the largest and most impressive park in Natal. Home to the African Big 5, Cheetah and Wild Dogs to mention but just a few of the possible sightings. The full day safari includes a bush breakfast and of course a traditional South African Braai (BBQ). Then enjoy a slower pace while in St Lucia, South Africa's very first world heritage site (Unesco 1999). Home to the largest free roaming Hippo population in St Lucia, don't be alarmed should you see them grazing in town at night. Various activities are included while in St Lucia which include a boat cruise on the estuary where you are guaranteed of seeing these amazing animals. Night Drive Safari where you will enjoy the African Wildlife come alive as the nocturnal animals start foraging and hunting.
From St Lucia travel 4 hours South to Umkomaas where you will be based for the next 3 days and enjoy 5 Dives on Aliwal Shoal. To add a baited shark dive (no cages, no feeding) will be at an additional charge of R 750 as an upgrade to one of the existing dives. Both the wrecks are deeper than 18 m which therefore require's an advanced diver qualification.
