Departing from Durban the company will transfer you in a air-conditioned minibus to the various reserves where you will be transferred over into a Open Game Drive Safari Vehicle. Please Note that we do not offer any Safaris in minibus or closed vehicles unless you the client prefers to do so. Why a Open Game Drive Vehicle then well firstly it offers a higher perspective for viewing the wildlife and with virtually 360 degrees of un obstructed views you will have a better vantage point. Furthermore it offers a true sense of a safari with one being able to experience smell, sounds and a closer feel to nature. Durban is well situated and can easily be utilised as a base from which to go on safari, 2,5 hours north of Durban lies both Hluhluwe Umfolozi as well as iSimangaliso Wetland Park. The Hluhluwe Umfolozi Reserve is a 96000 hectare reserve with the Big 5 and other incredible wildlife, the iSimangaliso Wetland Park lies east of the Hluhluwe park and is enormous stretching from St Lucia to the border of Mozambique.
