Its a early start, should you be overnighting in the town of St Lucia then we will pick you up at 5:00 and transfer you to the game reserve. Alternatively we will meet you at the game reserve gate at 6:00. Your personal guide for the day will give you a introduction to the reserve the animal species that are found within the reserve and the intended area that you will be travelling too. Without wasting anytime board the vehicle and start your journey into KwaZulu Natal's largest and most magnificent reserve.
The journey into the reserve will undoubtedly be filled with some incredible wildlife sightings, your ranger has years of experience within this reserve and will ensure that your expectations and not met but rather exceeded. This reserve has of the largest Rhino Population on earth, some splendid vantage points from where you can capture those amazing African Sunrises and most importantly learn more about this incredible reserve.

This Full Day Big 5 Safari too Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park departs daily. Bookings are however essential. The park is a 96000 hectare reserve and is home to the African Big 5. Other wildlife that one may come across while out on safari include, Cheetah's, Wild Dogs, Nyala, Kudu, Wildebeest and a whole lot more. The park is truly a magnificent reserve with some incredible vantage points, hides, and picnic areas.
Your personal game ranger for the day has years of experience within the Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Park. He or she will waste no time and get you to the best areas within the park. Destinations may vary from day to day depending on the sightings and time of year. The park has some fantastic history and was once the personal hunting grounds of King Shaka and is also the park that saved the Rhino's from near extinction in the late 50's when less than 100 Rhino's roamed the earth.

We had a delicious breakfast plus Arno cooked us up a fantastic Braai for lunch. We learned so many things, and we were very well taken care of. Arno is a genuinely passionate, well-informed, entertaining, and knowledgable guide who went well beyond his time to make sure we had the best time we could- and succeeded at that!
