Umfolozi Big 5 Reviews
Guys this is an ode to the unbelievable guide who spiced up our Umfolozi Big 5 Safari visit ,and who was crucial in the metamorphose from a routine tour to a spectacular experience.Kyle is not just a mundane guide, he's foremost an enjoyer and observer afterwards a passionate sharer and storyteller only then a guide. So if any of you find yourself in the Kwazulu Natal area, my first recommendation is find Kyle, then hire him to escort you to any animal sighting you want to explore.
Went on two drives, one full day and one half day. Couldn't have been happier with the experience. Kyle Ahlers was our guide and did an amazing drive, and was super informative the entire time. We were incredibly lucky to see wild dogs on both drives (exactly what we came to see, so we were thrilled); both were amazing viewings too. Very happy with Heritage, and it was super convenient that they offer free pick up from wherever you are staying in St. Lucia!
This past weekend we took on the Full Day Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Safari Tour with friends and i must say it was a great experience. Our Game Ranger/Guide was an enthusiastic, passionate, lively and bubbly and of course very knowledgeable guy buy the name of Kyle. He's familiar with the game reserve, the animals and even the trees, oh can i also mention that he makes a mean braai, he's a bar-barque master.
