Hluhluwe Safari Update

Once again Heritage Tours & Safaris was afforded unique sightings while out on Safari in Hluhluwe, South Africa. The day started early with a 5:00 am pick up and then transporting clients to the Umfolozi Game Reserve (Nalazi Gate) in the southern section of the Hluhluwe Game Reserve. With spectacular sunrise in the background who knew how good a day it was going to be thats the greatness of this reserve, no one can ever forecast how good its going to be. A quick warm cup of Tea or Coffee and on with the safari, no sooner had we started exploring and travelling to our favorite spots and our first Lion was witnessed ( Female ), travelling past Mpila Camp Leopard porched in a tree with a kill, strangely enough a couple of Crows had decided that they to wanted in on the meal, almost barking at the Leopard to stay away, one can only imagine what the Leopard must have thought. Breakfast served in the bush with more warm refreshments what more could one expect from a great days safari so far.

Elephants, another sighting of Lion, Rhino and Buffalo where witnessed on the rest of the days safari while in Hluhluwe.
