Leopards on Safari

Its been yet another magnificent week to have been on a Hluhluwe Safari, sightings have been amazing with Elephants, Rhino, Buffalo, Lion and yes even some incredible sightings of that elusive Leopard. After some incredible hot days in Zululand we where fortunate to receive some rain. However as we approach the end of our rainy season pans and rivers will slowly start showing signs once again. Its always a great tip to try and stay close to all water sources as this is where the majority of the sightings will take place.

Early departing safaris to Hluhluwe prove to be the best get to the gate as early as possible and travel slow, rushing the drive only makes one miss out on some amazing sightings. This last week was incredible with the Big 4 being witnessed regularly and then to make things even better Leopards and even more Leopards. These elusive magnificent creatures generally difficult to spot during daylight hours proved to show themselves this last week.

Clients and game rangers where over the moon with the quality of sightings and with all memory cards full to capacity they all left the game reserve with content.
